Sidley is pleased to announce that Ian McGinley has joined the firm as a Securities Enforcement and Regulatory partner in the Regulatory and Enforcement practice group in New York. Mr. McGinley was most recently the Director of Enforcement for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). At Sidley, he will focus on regulatory enforcement and white-collar criminal defense, with a particular emphasis on commodities and securities laws. He will also advise clients in civil and criminal matters involving digital assets.

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP announced that Deeksha Rathi has joined the firm in London as a partner in the Tax Department. Rathi advises corporate clients on a range of UK and international tax matters, including the tax aspects of M&A and corporate finance transactions.

Most notably, he advises on matters involving economic sanctions, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption laws, and export controls. He joins from Dechert.

King & Spalding announced that Jordan Sagalowsky has joined the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts practice group as a partner in its New York office.
