PARTNER MOVES - Michelmores expands its contentious probate team in London with three new hires

Michelmores has appointed two new Partners, Alexa Payet and Natasha McKeever, to its London-based Contentious Probate team.

Alexa and Natasha’s arrival further strengthens Michelmores’ highly ranked Contentious Probate team, following the appointment of Associate Emma Bryson in October 2023. All three lawyers have moved to Michelmores from Bolt Burdon Solicitors, joining existing London-based team member Emily Peacock.

PARTNER MOVES - Freshfields continues strategic growth in Paris with antitrust partner appointment

Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has announced that Charlotte Colin-Dubuisson, a leading practitioner in antitrust and foreign investment, will join the firm as partner. She will join the Antitrust, Competition and Trade team in Paris which is led by partner Jérôme Philippe.

Colin-Dubuisson is experienced in EU and French competition law and has a strong market reputation. She has significant experience in particular in relation to Fast Moving Consumer Goods markets, as well as the optical retail, luxury, waste management, metal and auto-parts sectors.

PATNER MOVES - Disputes lawyers Jean-Pierre Picca and Jean-Lou Salha join Hogan Lovells as partners in the Paris office

Global law firm Hogan Lovells announced that Jean-Pierre Picca and Jean-Lou Salha have joined the firm as disputes partners focusing on investigations and compliance, based in our Paris office. They join from White & Case.

PARTNER MOVES - Davide Proverbio joins Eversheds Sutherland as a partner

Eversheds Sutherland (Europe) announces that, as part of Eversheds Sutherland (International) collaboration agreement with KWM (China).

Davide’s activity focuses on corporate and M&A with particular emphasis on private equity; since 2012 he was a Partner at KWM (China) (for the last six years as Managing Partner for Italy) and, previously, at Pedersoli, DLA Piper and Norton Rose Fulbright.

PARTNER MOVES - Addleshaw Goddard grows infrastructure & energy team with new partner

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has continued the growth of its Infrastructure and Energy team with the recruitment of experienced Partner Euan Wilson from Dentons.

Wilson, who will be based in Edinburgh, will work closely with the firm's wider Infrastructure and Energy team with a particular focus on infrastructure asset management and the expiry and handback of PFI projects across the UK, as well advising Central Government and the wider public sector on a range of infrastructure matters.

McAllister, who joins the firm from Davidson Chalmers Stewart, specialises on real estate matters within the Energy & Utilities sector with wide experience in all renewable technologies, including wind, solar, battery storage and transmission/grid connection infrastructure.

Tim has first-chaired trials in federal courts around the nation, as well as in the International Trade Commission, an increasingly important forum for IP disputes. He led trial teams to four wins in the past three years, including three in the ITC.

PARTNER MOVES - Hill Dickinson builds family law offering in Manchester following new partner appointment

Law firm Hill Dickinson has marked a strong start to 2024 as it expands its family law team into Manchester with the hire of highly experienced family law partner, Joanne Radcliff.

Joanne’s addition to the team gives Hill Dickinson a family law presence in both of its North West office locations and will see her establish a new subteam presence in Manchester to meet growing client demand.

Hers is the latest senior hire in the firm’s fast-growing Business Services Group, which has seen more than 12 lateral partner hires join in the past 12 months alone.
