International law firm McDermott Will & Emery welcomes Julia Boyd as a partner in its Transactions Practice Group in New York. Julia is well known in the New York private equity space and regularly advises on a variety of cross-border transactions.

Mae Morter joins Orrick as a partner in London. She advises financial institutions, funds, sponsors and corporations on domestic and cross-border leveraged finance transactions, private credit, acquisition finance, venture financings and debt restructurings at all levels of the capital structure.

Mae brings a strong skill set in leveraged finance, the debt aspects of venture financing and private credit and will collaborate with Orrick’s No. 1 ranking European venture capital team (Pitchbook) and its private credit practice, which is one of the most active in the market.

PARTNER MOVES - Fried Frank continues to build finance practice in London with arrival of Cameron Mitcham as partner

Fried Frank announced that Cameron Mitcham has joined the firm as a partner in the Finance Practice in London. He joins from a leading Australian law firm and prior to that he was a partner at Dechert LLP in its global finance team in London.

Mitcham’s practice is focused on securitization, structured finance, asset-backed lending and credit funds, with an emphasis in structuring transactions and funds to be compliant with EU risk retention rules.
