International law firm Bird & Bird has further expanded its London Corporate practice with the arrival of partner Jane Brassington.

Jane focuses on private mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investments for clients with a particular focus on corporate real estate transactions and transactions in the energy and utilities and tech and comms sectors.

Jane will work closely and collaborate with a number of different teams across Bird & Bird, particularly our real estate, construction and energy teams.

We have hired Ryan Ferry, a litigator from leading Irish firm Arthur Cox, as a new partner in our Dublin office. He joined us last week as Disputes & Investigations lead for the Republic of Ireland.

Morrison Foerster, a leading global law firm, is pleased to announce the arrival of Tammy C. Davies as a partner in the firm’s Finance Group, based in the New York office. Davies brings to the firm deep experience representing alternative lenders and investors in complex credit arrangements.

O’Melveny announced that David N. Kelley, esteemed White Collar lawyer and former United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner in its White Collar Defense & Corporate Investigations Practice Group. Radford has significant experience in a broad range of commercial disputes, with a focus on contentious insolvency, enforcement of security, banking and finance, directors’ duties, civil fraud and international asset recovery.

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has announced the appointment of partner Joanna Hunt to lead the firm's immigration practice within its Employment, Pensions and Immigration (EPI) group.

Joanna joins DACB from Fieldfisher, where she acted as Head of Immigration. Her experience within immigration law includes key areas of sponsorship, compliance and corporate support, with specific specialism in the professional services, tech and property sectors. Joanna also supports individuals with work-based visas, family-based applications and citizenship.
