Bird & Bird has strengthened its international Media, Entertainment and Sport group with the arrival of partner Brianna Quinn in Sydney. She will be working closely with Bird & Bird’s Sydney and London offices.

With over a decade of experience at a leading international arbitration firm in Geneva, Switzerland, Brianna has advised and represented a wide range of international federations and other clients across various sports. 

International law firm Clifford Chance announced the expansion of its global energy & infrastructure practice in the US with the hire of seven Houston-based partners. DLA Piper will strengthen its European practice with Dr Caroline Herkströter as new Head of Financial Services Regulatory Europe as of September 1, 2023. As a partner in DLA Piper's Finance, Projects and Restructuring practice group in Germany, Dr Caroline Herkströter will be based in Frankfurt. Dr Caroline Herkströter joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, where she was a partner in the investment and banking regulatory practice from 2007 to 2015 and again from 2019. From 2015 to 2019, she headed the legal department of a large bank.
