PARTNER MOVES - DLA Piper appoints new projects partner

DLA Piper has confirmed the appointment of Tony Rutherford who will be joining DLA Piper as a Partner in the Finance, Projects & Restructuring (FP&R) practice in Melbourne. 

Tony was previously a Construction, Infrastructure and Projects partner at Holding Redlich, where he advised on large and complex infrastructure transactions across a wide range of sectors. He was previously a Senior Associate at DLA Piper in our Dubai, Perth and Melbourne offices between 2008 and 2013.

PARTNER MOVES - CMS expands its dispute resolution practice with team hire

International law firm CMS has strengthened its Dispute Resolution practice in Poland with the appointment of partner Rafał Morek. Rafal joins the firm’s 25-lawyer strong team, headed by Anna Cudna-Wagner, along with Jan Markiewicz as counsel and Andrzej Girdwoyń as associate. The new team members will strengthen the practice in arbitration and construction disputes, as well as disputes in infrastructure projects.
