International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced that Andy Hagan and Gilles Teerlinck will join the Firm as partners in the London office.

Andy and Gilles are currently partners at Freshfields and White & Case respectively. They have extensive experience of advising issuers, sponsors, investors, underwriters and other parties on complex cross-border leveraged finance transactions, with a particular focus on public and private high-yield bond financings, acquisition finance, private placements, restructuring and liability management transactions.

He brings deep experience in energy regulatory and government investigations and actions before the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Previously with Winston & Strawn, Ammons has for 15 years counseled a full spectrum of U.S. and non-U.S. clients on energy, commodities and derivatives matters. In recent years, he has also broken new ground with blockchain and cryptocurrency companies.
