David previously served as Microsoft’s corporate vice president and deputy general counsel for litigation, competition law, and compliance worldwide. Before joining Microsoft, David led Dechert’s white collar and securities litigation practice, after serving as a federal prosecutor.

King & Spalding has hired energy, infrastructure and project development lawyer Dan Feldman as a partner in its Corporate, Finance and Investments (CFI) practice group. He is based in the Abu Dhabi office.

Feldman advises on projects and transactions across the full range of traditional and green energy technologies, including renewables, hydrogen, oil and gas, power, infrastructure and mining megaprojects around the world. His clients include corporations, government entities and financial institutions, both in the Middle East and internationally.

Bruce B. Kelson and Agatha H. Liu, Ph.D., have joined Duane Morris LLP as partners in the firm’s Trial and Intellectual Property practice groups, respectively, in its Silicon Valley office. Prior to joining Duane Morris, Kelson was partner at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP, where he served as chair of that firm’s Securities Litigation Practice Group. Liu was a partner at Hickman Becker Bingham Ledesma LLP.

Law firm Hill Dickinson has announced the hire of partner Alastair Moss as it starts the year by boosting the firm’s fast-growing Real Estate team in London under practice head Jim Garton.

Alastair joins with 25 years of experience working in property law, the last 16 of which was at Memery Crystal where he was co-head of Real Estate. His arrival at Hill Dickinson adds a wealth of experience to the team in commercial and residential property legal work, acting for investors, banks and occupiers on all aspects of real estate. 

Squire Patton Boggs has hired partners Lee Norman and Ben Johnson into its Litigation Practice. They join the firm from DWF, where Mr. Norman was head of its commercial litigation team in Manchester. Mr. Norman and Mr. Johnson follow partners Lucy Webster and Christian Toms, who joined the firm’s London Litigation team in recent months.
