International law firm Simmons & Simmons announced that construction expert Beau McLaren has joined its Dubai office as partner and head of the firm's Middle East construction practice. Prior to arriving at Simmons, Beau was a partner in Clyde & Co’s projects and construction team in Dubai.

Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has added Walter C. Pfeffer as a shareholder in its San Francisco office. Pfeffer, who joins the firm’s Unfair Competition and Trade Secrets practice group, was previously a partner with Singer Cashman LLP. His addition marks the ninth attorney to join the firm at the shareholder level since early July, reinforcing Littler’s continued growth trajectory.

Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has added Traer Cundiff as a shareholder in its Kansas City office. Cundiff, who was previously eDiscovery Counsel at Ogletree Deakins, is the latest in a series of nine shareholder additions to Littler in recent months.

Global law firm White & Case LLP continues to expand its Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice and Global Real Estate Group with the addition of Jennifer Iacono and Jason McCoy as partners. Iacono joins the Firm's New York office and McCoy, a Georgia-qualified lawyer, joins the Firm's Houston office. 

Mayer Brown announced that Camila Panama has joined the firm’s Corporate & Securities practice in the New York office as a partner, where she will focus on public company M&A transactions. Ms. Panama joins from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, and prior to that she spent five years practicing with Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.

The law firm CMS Grau announced the incorporation of Juan José Hopkins as a new partner. Squire Patton Boggs has appointed private equity lawyer Arnaud Lafarge as a partner in its Corporate practice in Paris. M. Lafarge joins from Lamy Lexel, and is accompanied by two associates, Nicolas Leveque and Eva Jouannic. He joins a Corporate team in France significantly bolstered by the recent arrivals of private equity lawyers Maxime Dequesne and Anthony Guillaume, and private equity finance and tax specialists Benjamin Marché and Charles Briand, and his appointment is the eighth partner hire in the firm’s Paris office since summer 2021.
