We are excited to announce that Adam Goldberg will join Pillsbury this week as a litigation partner based in the firm’s San Francisco office. Goldberg brings extensive experience in Asia-related investigations, litigation, arbitrations, regulatory counseling and M&A compliance due diligence, with a particular focus on Greater China. He joins the firm from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he was a partner and had been practicing in Hong Kong for a decade.

Latham & Watkins LLP is pleased to announce that former US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) Corporation Finance Associate Director Michele Anderson will join the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as a partner in the National Office, a central resource for complex US securities law questions. She will join the firm after serving for 24 years in progressively senior positions in the SEC’s Corporation Finance Division, including nearly 15 years leading and then overseeing its Office of Mergers and Acquisitions (OM&A).

International law firm Osborne Clarke has hired experienced corporate energy partner Matt Lewy, who joins the firm's team in London.  Most recently a partner in Womble Bond Dickinson's energy and infrastructure team, Matt previously held roles at CMS and Baker Botts.

A corporate lawyer whose practice covers both renewable and conventional energy, Matt brings a particular focus on energy transition and decarbonisation.  His practice is centred on M&A and investment work, together with joint venture and equity arrangements for projects and project financings.

Linklaters has expanded its corporate practice in Spain with the hire of Sebastián Albella, who re-joins the firm as an M&A partner.

Previously a partner at Linklaters for more than 10 years, Sebastián re-joins after a period at Latham & Watkins, following his time as Chairman of the Spanish Securities and Exchange Commission (CNMV) to which he was appointed by the Spanish Government in 2016.
