PARTNER MOVES - Two Industry Veterans Bolster Pillsbury’s Insolvency & Restructuring Practice

As it executes on its expansion plans, Pillsbury has brought on two veteran insolvency and restructuring lawyers, Joshua Morse, who will join as a partner, and Jonathan Doolittle, who will join as senior counsel. Morse comes to Pillsbury from DLA Piper, while Doolittle is from Reed Smith. They will be resident in San Francisco.

Latham & Watkins LLP1 is pleased to announce that Suzzanne Uhland has joined the firm’s New York office as a partner in the Restructuring & Special Situations Practice within the Finance Department. Uhland has an extensive track record advising parties in Chapter 11 reorganizations and out of court restructurings and buyers and sellers in Bankruptcy Code Section 363(b) sales and other distress transactions.

PARTNER MOVES - Pansy Wong joins Linklaters’ Financial Regulation practice in London

Linklaters has announced that Pansy Wong will join its Financial Regulation practice as partner in July.

Pansy joins from J.P. Morgan Securities, where she was Managing Director and Associate General Counsel. A Linklaters alumnus, Pansy completed her training contract with the firm in Hong Kong before leaving the firm as a Managing Associate in 2004. Since then she has worked at Goldman Sachs and most recently J.P. Morgan Securities.
