International law firm Taylor Wessing has announced the appointment of Liz Wilson as a partner in its Tax and Incentives practice.
Liz joined the firm on Monday from Squire Patton Boggs where she was a Director. Prior to this, Liz spent 13 years at Macfarlanes.
She has considerable experience working on cross-border tax issues across a range of areas including corporate transactions, private equity, commercial agreements, real estate and construction transactions, projects and debt finance.
A project finance specialist with considerable experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors, Nigel brings expertise in serving leading lenders and sponsors – in particular those active in the African and other emerging markets. He has acted for commercial banks and DFIs, and for project companies and investors, on ECA and MIGA covered financings for projects ranging from power (renewable, including wind, solar, hydro, and thermal) through to transport infrastructure (roads, rail and airports).
The global firm Jones Day announces that John Gore, who most recently served as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Civil Rights Division, for the U.S. Department of Justice, returns to Jones Day as partner in the Firm’s Government Regulation Practice and is based in its Washington Office. Mr. Gore joined the DOJ in January of 2017.
