Baker McKenzie strengthens its tax practice with a lateral hire: Thomas Gierath joins the Munich office as a partner effective January 1, 2020. Thomas Gierath joins as partner from Reed Smith in Munich where he was for seven years and headed its German tax practice. Prior to that, he was National Partner at Dechert. He will be joined by Associate Viktoria Ritter, who has worked at Reed Smith for 2 ½ years.
