Marily Paralika joins Fieldfisher Paris as a partner of 17 June 2019, to set up an international arbitration practice, bringing the number of partners in the Paris office to 18.

Marily specializes in international arbitration, and brings back 15 years of experience. She acts as counsel in arbitration proceedings governed by ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SCC arbitration rules, and ad hoc proceedings.

Akin Gump has announced that private equity funds lawyers John Daghlian and Mary Lavelle will join the firm as partners in London. They will both come to Akin Gump from the London office of O’Melveny & Myers.

Together, they will join the firm’s investment management practice and transactional platform. Dechert has expanded its Global Finance and Litigation practices with the hires of structured finance partner John McGrath, and structured finance disputes partner Simon Fawell. The team joins Dechert’s London office.

John McGrath, a senior structured finance partner, primarily represents funds and other buy-side parties on a wide range of financial products often involving enforcement or restructuring of derivatives, securitizations and other structured financings. He works closely and with Simon Fawell on disputes involving structured financings.
