Wolf Theiss Tirana advised OTE in the agreement to sell its controlling stake in Telekom Albania

Wolf Theiss Tirana Partner Sokol Nako and Associate Kristaq Profkola acted as legal counsels to OTE Group in a EUR 50 million agreement entered with the Bulgarian company Albania Telecom Invest, for the sale of the OTE's controlling stake in Telekom Albania. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including the approval by the competent local authorities and financing, and is expected to be completed within the first half of 2019.

Baker McKenzie assists BPM and Banca del Mezzogiorno - MedioCredito Centrale in financing of Studio Vacanze Group

The Banking & Finance practice group of Baker McKenzie Italy, coordinated by Partner Alberto Fornari, assisted Banco BPM S.p.A. and Banco del Mezzogiorno - MedioCredito Centrale S.p.A. in financing some companies of the Studio Vacanze Group.

The team involved in the operation was composed of Counsel Giorgio Telarico, assisted by Danila Quetti and Francesco Ciociola for the financial profiles and of Counsel Luca Vincenzi and Associate Leonardo Fortunato for the tax profiles. 

Landmark wind power transaction in Norway

Wikborg Rein would like to congratulate Stadtwerke München GmbH (SWM) with its landmark 1,5 GWh wind power transaction in Trøndelag. Wikborg Rein has assisted SWM with its acquisition of 70 % of the shares in Midgard Vind Holding AS, a company owning four existing and four new wind power projects previously owned by TrønderEnergi Kraft AS, NTE Energi AS and Sarepta Energi AS. TrønderEnergi will own 30 % of Midgard Vind Holding AS. We would also like to congratulate TrønderEnergi, NTE and others involved with the transaction.

GOWLING WLG ADVISES TRIPLE POINT ON LLOYDS BANK REVOLVING CREDIT FACILITY

International law firm Gowling WLG has advised a wholly owned subsidiary of Triple Point Social Housing REIT plc, TP REIT Propco 2 Limited on the successful signing of a secured £70 million Revolving Credit Facility (RCF) with Lloyds Bank plc.

The floating rate RCF has an initial term of four years, expiring on 20 December 2022 which may be extended by a further two years to 20 December 2024.

White & Case Advises Senior Lenders on Project Financing of Warradarge Wind Farm

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the senior lenders to Bright Energy Investments, the renewable energy investment vehicle established by Synergy with DIF and CBUS, on the limited recourse project financing of the development of the Warradarge Wind Farm in Western Australia.

The Warradarge Wind Farm is a 180 MW greenfield project located near Eneabba in Western Australia and upon completion, is expected to generate sufficient electricity to power 135,000 Western Australian homes.

Ashurst advises on largest solar PV farm in Australia

International law firm Ashurst advised leading Australian renewable energy company Edify Energy on the development and debt financing of its newest project, the Darlington Point Solar Farm near Darlington Point, NSW.

Construction of the 333MWDC (275MWAC) Darlington Point Solar Farm will commence shortly. Once operational it will generate 685,000 MWh of renewable energy each year – enough to power around 115,000 homes. Generation is expected to start in early 2020.
