International law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) is growing its London-based corporate team with the appointment of new partners Rebecca Ferguson and Carl Powlson.

Rebecca and Carl join WBD's UK-wide, award winning, corporate practice, which advises a national and international roster of clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, particularly M&As, IPOs, MBOs, joint ventures, private equity investments as well as growth and development capital fundraisings.

O’Melveny announced that acclaimed labor and employment litigator Kimberly Williams has joined the firm’s Dallas office as a partner in its Labor & Employment Practice Group.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. has added A. Sheila Oretsky  as part of the continued strategic expansion of its award-winning Miami Litigation Practice. Oretsky joins the firm from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, PC, where she was co-chair of its Class Action Litigation Practice.

Reed Smith announced the addition of Evan Barr as a partner in its Regulatory and Investigations Group. A seasoned litigator and respected trial lawyer, Barr represents individuals and companies in complex investigations and enforcement actions brought by, among others, the Department of Justice, the SEC and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. He will work in the firm’s New York office.

Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP announced that Gina Castellano, who served most recently as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, has joined the firm’s White Collar Defense and Investigations practice as a partner in New York.  

Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP announced that energy M&A lawyer Tan Lu has joined the Firm as a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department.  He is based in the Houston office.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has expanded its Corporate Practice with the addition of Shawn R. McIntee and Shauro Bagchi as shareholders in the firm’s Minneapolis office. Both attorneys have spent their legal career in Minneapolis and join the firm from Maslon LLP, where they were partners.
