PARTNER MOVES - Brown Rudnick expands transatlantic IP practice with addition of partner David Knight in London

International law firm Brown Rudnick LLP announced the appointment of David Knight as a partner in the Firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group. Knight will be based in London and lead the Firm’s U.K. and European IP practice, working closely with Brown Rudnick’s U.S. team to serve clients on that side of the Atlantic.

Knight’s practice covers the full range of IP rights, with a particular focus on patents. He advises companies on both offensive and defensive patent litigation and on corporate matters, including structuring, transactions, and licensing.

International legal practice Osborne Clarke continues to expand its disputes and risk team with the appointment of property disputes partner Kate New.

Kate has over 15 years' experience in property litigation operating in the retail, investment, telecoms and housebuilder/development sectors.  She joins us from an in-house role where she was interim head of legal property at On Tower UK Limited (part of Cellnex Telecom) which she joined in August 2020 and before that Kate was previously at Blake Morgan and Foot Anstey.
