Abdón Pedrajas Littler, a leading labor and employment law firm in Spain and part of Litter, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has opened an office in Valencia, Spain. The office will be led by partner Javier Molina, who is part of a six-lawyer team joining from law firm Cuatrecasas.

In addition to building on the firm’s existing operations in Spain in Madrid and Barcelona, the new Valencia office follows Littler’s November 2021 expansion into Portugal when DCM Lawyers (now DCM | Littler) joined its global platform.

PARTNER MOVES - Health care veteran Craig Bleifer joins Akin Gump as partner in New York

Craig B. Bleifer, a veteran health care attorney with three decades of experience in pharmaceutical and health care law, has joined Akin Gump as a partner in New York in the firm’s health care and life sciences practice.

For 20 years, Mr. Bleifer served as in-house general counsel—he was corporate vice president, general counsel and secretary at Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk and senior vice president, general counsel and secretary at Daiichi Sankyo, a Japanese pharmaceutical company.
