Vanessa Joll, who has joined the firm as head of real estate disputes, has a wide-ranging property litigation practice, with niche specialisms in development disputes and property-related professional negligence claims, while Mark Rondel has particular expertise in commercial disputes, having conducted litigation in a number of substantial commercial disputes.

In the continuing expansion of Greenberg Traurig’s Middle East practice, starting with its affiliation with Khalid Al-Thebity Law Firm in Riyadh until approvals are obtained for Riyadh and Dubai locations, five shareholders and one senior associate have joined. Additionally, three lawyers that work in the Middle East practice joined the firm as of counsel in Washington, D.C.

Expanding our international sector group, Leona Ahmed is confirmed as the latest appointment to the firm's partnership.

Leona will join the firm as a partner in the UK on 1 May 2023 from Addleshaw Goddard where she was a partner for over 15 years, a former divisional managing partner of real estate, and more recently former Head of its London office.
