PARTER MOVES - Gowling WLG to strengthen housing development and regeneration practice with new team hire

Gowling WLG is strengthening its nationally-renowned housing development and regeneration (HDR) practice by hiring a best-in-class team based in Leeds.

Seven lawyers are joining from Womble Bond Dickinson to build on the firm's existing strengths and enable Gowling WLG's HDR practice to better serve its national and northern-based residential development, social provider and regeneration clients.

Julia Dacre Field will be joining the firm as Partner. She has more than 20 years of experience in the sector and heads up Womble Bond Dickinson's Leeds-based housebuilder team.

PARTNER MOVES - DWF adds five new partners across four offices

DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has bolstered its teams in London, Edinburgh, Belfast and Saudi Arabia with five partner hires in just one week.

The new hires - who joined in early October - will begin their roles in the Corporate, Dispute Resolution and Finance & Restructuring teams.

James Wilson joins as a Corporate partner in the London office specialising in equity capital markets. Having built strong relationships with a number of broking houses, his work focuses on IPOs, dual listings, and fundraising, among others.
